We would like to set up a food growing scheme in a community garden space that invites people in every week and provides food for the on site volunteers. Barnton Bunker is a charity and a restoration project and we are establishing links with the local community and ecosphere.

Improving our outdoor social space by planting fruit, vegetables, herbs and sensory plants. Developing it into a productive garden to supply food for cooking groups and the weekly pantry. Gathering local people in an intergenerational way, tackling social isolation, becoming more invested in their local greenspace and centre.

A community garden in the North section of the Roseburn to Union Canal Link cycle path. The project will enhance the local environment, create opportunities for urban food growing, and provide a welcoming green space.

We would like to expand the farm area at Longstone Primary School. We have recently started developing an allotment for the children to grow their own vegetables and fruit. This will provide new outdoor learning opportunities for the children attending both the primary school and nursery.

Transition Edinburgh South will transform the outdoor space at Gracemount Medical Practice into a vibrant community garden that supports biodiversity, well-being, and sustainability. By involving local residents, staff, and patients, the project will create an inclusive space for connection, nature-based healing, and shared food growing.

Tuk Tuk Grow and Go brings mobile growing and cooking sessions to families across Edinburgh using our tuk tuk and soup bike. Families explore easy ways to grow herbs and vegetables at home, with recipe tastings, planting kits, and visits to local growing spaces.

We will expand PEP’s community garden to grow fresh, sustainable food for local people. With greenhouses, tools, and a sessional gardener, the project will support volunteering, improve wellbeing, and reduce food insecurity – aligning with Edinburgh’s Net Zero and Anti-Poverty goals whilst strengthening community connection through inclusive, hands-on growing activities.

We intend to put in a series of planters and a greenhouse on the grounds of the local primary school. The produce which we grow will be shared with the community.
