We would like to expand the farm area at Longstone Primary School. We have recently started developing an allotment for the children to grow their own vegetables and fruit. This will provide new outdoor learning opportunities for the children attending both the primary school and nursery.

Edible Garden at The Action Group

A holistic community garden initiative of the Green Thumbs, with support by The Action Group. A vision of a small community accessible orchard where the community enjoy the fresh produce. Additionally an edible garden will be looked after within the private space of The Action Group with a weekly produce store set up in the orchard, with the Green Thumbs & friends will provide fresh herbs & vegetables for a small donation for the community.
